Comment: Using the ee vowel to find a better ah quality.

Quote: Once the student has learned to gain control over different sounds representing vowel changes he has learned to directly control the involuntary muscular action of the vocal organs. When Tosi warned against singing 'through the nose,' or having the tone 'choked in the throat,' while offering the constructive suggestion that the tone pass 'free and clear' with the vowels 'produced purely,' he implied that the change in vowel quality would establish a more healthful and beneficial physical adjustment of the vocal organs themselves.
